I can’t believe that in two years (if everything goes according to plan) I will be in Law School. I have felt called to practicing law since I was about nine years old. I have worked in a Law Office since I was fifteen. I want to practice in criminal law, both as a prosecutor and defense counsel. Lately, I’ve been a little anxious though- lawyers are faced with ethical decisions that can be incredibly trying. For instance, how can I defend someone who has done something truly evil? I do believe that everyone has the right to a fair trial… but could I defend a child molester? Could I defend a wife-beater? I guess I will just continue asking God for guidance
